GOOD is looking for a Marketing Manager in our Brand Activation department. You will help ensure the success of our partner relationships by identifying scalable strategies, tactics and channels for activating and amplifying partner campaigns. You will work closely with the Media and Community teams to develop and implement content strategy recommendations; leverage social assets and other digital forums where our audience engages (social platforms, StumbleUpon, etc.); and, generally help translate business and partner goals into a meaningful marketing strategy. You have excellent knowledge of social media platforms, especially Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram and Pinterest, with a strong sense of different community behaviors and experience using social media to drive ROI and business goals. You are an extremely detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational and project management skills and are accustomed to multitasking in a fast-paced environment.   • Oversee the activation and success of partnership campaigns for GOOD’s owned and operated properties
  • Help oversee budget for partnership activations, including developing plans that deliver the greatest possible ROI
  • Build awareness for campaigns and drive campaign optimization by testing new techniques, analyzing performance data, and aggressively shifting resources to top performing campaign elements
  • Partner with editors and designers to ensure effective partnership SEO initiatives, including defining, documenting and tracking requirements through each phase of development from inception through activation
  • Assist with link building, social media, online PR and digital grassroots efforts that benefit SEO  
  • Build out new marketing campaigns, ideas, collaborations, and partnerships that drive campaign KPIs and elevate GOOD as innovators in the digital space
  • Oversee the creation and accuracy of internal and external reporting
  • Actively manage and report on multiple budgets

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • At least 4 years experience in digital strategy or social marketing
  • Hands-on experience using and acting on data collected from key analytics tools; Google Analytics and related tracking technologies and social media listening tools is a must; Facebook Insights, YouTube Analytics is a plus
  • HTML, CSS, or any relevant web coding knowledge a plus
  • Comprehensive understanding of each element of paid search (bid management, keyword targeting, quality score optimization, copy writing, landing page selection, etc.)
  • Adept at buying media through an array of business models, including CPM, CPC, CPA, and CPI based pricing of both reserved media and auction based media across individual sites, apps, ad networks and ad exchanges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Big picture thinker, who won’t hesitate to dive into the weeds when necessary
  • Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of Mac environment and Google docs
